HV Project Engineer - London - E

• Do you have hands-on experience working in the field of utility installations?
• Would you like to progress into a project management role with a leading utility connections company?

Calco is excited to share this opportunity for someone with a background installing utilities, such as high voltage (HV) cables, water or gas pipes, to further their career through on-the-job training and development, getting to a stage where you are running new connections schemes. 

Responsibilities:

• Run 11kV connections projects to a successful conclusion
• Ensure all works are completed to client brief and in accordance with health & safety legislation
• Make sure schemes are delivered in line with set budgets
• Plan works to achieve optimum efficiency
• Manage installation teams and site operatives
• Perform Risk Assessments

Requirements:

• Background of installation within the utilities sector, ideally power distribution / HV / Independent Connections Provider (ICP)
• Qualification in electrical engineering
• SMSTS, CSCS and NRSWA Supervisor (desirable)
• Experience in a supervisory role (desirable)
• Driving licence
