Do you have a background in high voltage (HV) installation and maintenance?
Are you happy working away from home and travelling across the UK?
Would you like to join a long-established electrical engineering company?
As HV Engineer, you will be responsible for installation and maintenance works on power distribution networks (all private networks) across the UK. Voltage levels will range from 11kV – 132kV.
The HV Engineer / HV Project Manager will be working within substations, managing installation and maintenance of electrical equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, breakers and protection relays. This will help to ensure that the private networks run at their optimum level of performance.
The role will require travel to various private networks across the UK so you must be happy staying away from home for up to two weeks at a time.
To be considered, previous experience as an HV Engineer or Project Manager within the power distribution sector at voltage levels between 11kV and 132kV is required, gained either with a company working for the Distribution Network Operator (DNO), Independent Connections Provider (ICP) or on private networks. In addition, qualifications in electrical engineering and a clean driving licence is required.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and highly reputable organisation, with an excellent reputation in their industry and a strong order book of work.
