HV Design Engineer - London - S

Join an extremely busy consultancy winning large amounts of power distribution design work.

Regarded as experts in power distribution design an opportunity is available for an HV Design Engineer to join a design practice, thanks to an ever-expanding portfolio of work.

The consultancy works on schemes up to 132kV and offers a diverse range of services including design of new connections and general HV networks, primary and protection substation design, earthing and power systems.  Their clients include Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) and organisations with large private networks.

The Electrical Engineer will design HV networks and will need to have a degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent), as well as a background in the design of 11kV, 33kV or 132kV power distribution systems.  This experience will have been gained with either a consultancy, an ICP or Distribution Network Operator (DNO).
