HV Design Engineer - Cambridgeshire

Forward-thinking and fast-growing Independent Connections Provider (ICP) with a strong and experienced leadership team is looking to appoint an Electrical Design Engineer with a background in HV / power distribution.

This is due to successfully winning a significant amount of work, so if job security is an important factor in considering your next role within the HV industry, this must appeal. 

Duties:

• Design LV, 11kV and 33kV networks / new connections
• Ensure HV designs comply with company and industry standards
• Liaise with Distribution Network Operator (DNO) and site / construction teams

Requirements:

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in the design of HV networks (power distribution or new connections)
• Experience using AutoCAD
