£45,000 - £55,000

Lincolnshire (Lincoln) for 2-3 days / week, remote working available rest of the time

Do you have experience in the design of primary substations?

Would you like the opportunity to work remotely / from home?

Are you a skilled user of AutoCAD?

This Primary Design Engineer opportunity is working for a growing Independent Connections Provider (ICP) with a strong orderbook of work and some large projects to deliver in 2020.  They have recently committed to growing their design team and, having recently appointed someone with protection design experience, now require someone to carry out general network designs for high voltage (HV) distribution systems at 11kV and 132kV, as well as primary substation design up to 132kV.

Responsibilities:

  • Design of HV networks and new connections
  • Primary substation design
  • Carry out design reviews
  • Work with internal and external delivery teams
  • Client liaison

Requirements:

  • Background in primary substation design and new connections
  • Experience using AutoCAD
  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Driving licence
