High End Residential Design Coordinator - London

If you live and breathe high-end residential this is an amazing opportunity with a property developer to take on a role and develop your skill set to becoming a strong client facing Design and Build Manager within the exclusive sector of residential development. 

This exclusive residential developer is seeking an experienced Design Coordinator with experience in the housing sector.

This role will see you control and co-ordinate all design and technical information between external consultants, clients and internal departments. The Design Coordinator will ensure all approvals are obtained and information received issued to all relevant parties before and during the construction process.

Role:

• Check all drawings and details for accuracy, correctness and commercial suitability.
• Liaise with external consultants to ensure deadlines are met.
• Liaise with clients
• Apply for and secure statutory approval
• Attend site visits and meetings in order to solve issues that arise during the construction process.
• Attend design meetings
• Reporting to the Design Manager and Director

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience within development in a housing environment
• Up to date relevant knowledge of building legislation
• Understanding of local government
• Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
• A background Working for a major housing developer would be advantageous for this role
