What is the opportunity?

There is an exciting opportunity to bring a SHEQ Advisor on board and to join a fantastic team. This role is site-based, and you will be responsible for covering the sites throughout Kent/ South London Area, supporting the Health & Safety Department for our Construction activities that we carry out across the London area.

What you should expect in your role?

You will report into the Head of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) and ensure all operations undertaken by employees are conducted safely and in accordance with the company's Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures and best practice. You will carry out and record SHEQ inspections of depots and work sites to ensure all operations are in compliance with legislation as well as conducting investigations of any accidents and producing reports and recommendations. 

Your opinion is valued in improving our systems and procedures to enhance performance and efficiency.

To provide great service in this role you will need:

• Previous experience as a Health and Safety Advisor
• Experience in the Construction and/or Utilities Industry
• NEBOSH Certification
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
• Good planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
