This organisation is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to work with the Senior Health and Safety Adviser. This role will see you provide professional support and guidance to all departments in health and safety. Ensuring continuing development of health and safety management system. As the Health & Safety Advisor you will report to the Directors and Heads of Service about the health and safety developments within their services. If issues arise you will make recommendations for improvements, as well as undertake audits of health and safety management systems as required producing action plans with audit findings.

As the Health and Safety Advisor your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in ensuring that health and safety systems support the organisation
• Supporting managers in developing health and safety plans
• Assisting in the analysis of health and safety and statistical information and the monitoring of the organisations performance.

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Health and Safety Advisor
• Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate
• Experience within housing or construction sector

The rate is £29.84 umbrella an hour
