Head of HV Engineering - Bristol

Working for a leading developer in the area of PV solar farm development, this role is to lead the high voltage (HV) engineering department and is an exciting opportunity in a busy sector.

The role:

• Management of the HV department
• Target setting and performance management for the HV team
• Act as Senior Authorised Person
• Management of the company HV authorisation process
• Management of HV maintenance schedule
• Compile HV safety process and relevant documentation, including Electrical Safety Rules
• Ensure HV training schemes implemented for the engineering team
• Mentor engineers undergoing training on HV systems
• Act as engineering expert for all HV related aspects of projects

The Person:

• Experienced HV Engineer with a track record leading teams of engineers working on high voltage projects, ideally within the solar power / renewable energy sectors and from a maintenance bias
• Qualified in Electrical Engineering
• Senior Authorised Person status
