An opportunity to join a market leader long-established ground works and concrete frame contractor that has built its reputation on the skill, experience and innovation of its people. They are looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor with 0 to 2 years’ experience working on Groundworks and RC Frame projects.
Position
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be working as part of a team and will be responsible for the commercial aspects of assigned projects, from procurement through to final accounts and the management of Cash Flow Forecasts for running the phase of the project working.
You will be reporting in to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and assisting in running the monthly reports, costings, sub-contract packages and variations. The position is office based with frequent site visits.

Essential criteria
0-2 years’ relevant experience
Main or subcontracting experience
Passionate about construction, house building and customer service
Wide knowledge of Construction Industry processes and procedures
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Computer literate and thorough knowledge of current forms of contract
Desired criteria
Qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Strong negotiation skills
