Graduate Electrical Engineer wanted by a successful, dynamic and growing railway electrification consultancy based in Central London. 

Well-established and with an excellent reputation in the industry, the consultancy specialises in design of the following within the railway electrification sector:

  • AC and DC distribution systems
  • Switchgear renewals
  • Substation upgrades
  • Electrical Track Equipment

The Graduate Electrical Engineer will benefit from being mentored by experienced, expert engineers who will share their invaluable knowledge to develop the skills of the successful graduate. 

Duties:

  • Carry out site surveys
  • Use software, such as AutoCAD, as well as more specialised ones to perform engineering designs
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with specifications, standards and legislation
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, equipment manufacturers and other stakeholders
  • Assist in the production of designs and technical reports

As the role develops, there will be plenty of opportunities to take on further responsibilities, including management of projects from inception through to completion.  

Requirements:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of LV / HV design (advantageous)
  • Experience using Microstation or AutoCAD (advantageous)
