Maintaining and repairing the physical environment in an urban area of the Thames are the main responsibility of this role. Supervising a team of dedicated workers and plant ensuring the structural integrity of the river infrastructure while ensuring the safety of the team in a challenging environment. Working a maximum of eight hours per day between 05:00-23:00 depending on the tide you will be responsible for organising and scheduling the work and deployment of team members.
The successful General Foreperson will have in excess of ten years experience supervising civil works, while marine experience would be an advantage it is not essential. On offer is an excellent salary, car allowance and a defined benefits pension scheme
