This privately owned company have an impressive history built on integrity and responsibility and have an opportunity for a Foreman to join them.

Your role as Foreman will be to supervise and coordinate the site personnel and subcontractors along with the reporting of all relevant site activities and managing the quality of work performed. Health, safety and environmental management aspects within the company will also be your responsibility, this will include tasks such as:                                          

• Identify unmanaged risks                                                         
• Taking immediate action to resolve or report risks                                                             
• Seek out and report near misses                                                                                                            
• Carry out method statement briefings                                                  

Other elements of the role of Foreman include:

• Oversee the daily programming of all site works in accordance with Company practice and procedures.                                    
• Regularly plan and review overalls status of project(s) with contracts manager and site engineer.
• Promptly correct or report problems and defects             
• Monitor all works against specifications to ensure continuing quality and accuracy of work performed.               

Criteria and key qualifications for the ideal Foreman?                               

• Has the appropriate technical knowledge – prior to commencement of site works gain an understanding of the relevant project specifications and drawings.                         
• CSCS
• Manual Handling
• SSSTS
• SMSTS/SEATS
