  • As a Foreman would you like to be responsible for supervising, managing and delivering the Fit‐Out Works required for a new Station tunnels and re‐finishing of an existing station?

The Fit Foreman is responsible for supervising, managing and delivering the Fit‐Out Works required for the new Station tunnels and re‐finishing of the existing station where the company’s works have interfaced with existing finishes. This will involve substantial Tier 2 Subcontractor Management, ensuring worksites are ready for Access Dates, that health and safety is always the primary focus, that logistics planning and coordination activities are carried out in timely manners. Interface with contract works and works by others project related needs to be coordinated by the Fit‐Out Foreman.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Must have Station Fit-Out Experience
  • Have good communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and be able to report at Management level
  • Significant level of experience in a senior supervisory/managerial role to be demonstrated.
  • Have substantial experience in similar London Underground works and carrying out similar tasks. Must show experience in medium / large size projects in preparation, documentation, procurement, planning, set up and execution of the works, supervision and coordination of the activities, preferably tunnel projects, working directly on site.
  • Experience of managing programmes of work, ensuring the project runs to schedule.
  • Experience leading site teams and mentoring them to help build a solid project team.
  • Good Computer skills – Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Hold a Supervisory CSCS Card.
  • Hold a minimum SSSTS. Desired SMSTS Certificate
  • Hold a Confined Spaces Training Certificate. (Desirable)
  • LUL sentinel
  • Hold First Aid Training certificate. (Desirable)
  • DLR Track Accustomed
  • LUL Quaff 54, L&E and other LU specific certificates are desirable.
