An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire Risk Assessor to work within the public sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that don’t often have vacancies. The role is initially for the duration of 2 months with the likelihood of this being extended.
As Fire Risk Assessor you will:
Provide fire safety surveying expertise, management, support and advice.
Ensure fire safety is inspected, managed and maintained in accordance with Regulatory Reform
Identify fire related risks across the portfolio and design and arrange and oversee the necessary remedial actions and work packages.
Manage Consultants, Designers and Clerk of Works in order to ensure compliance with fire safety legislation and the council's fire safety strategy and policies
Undertake FRA inspections and the FRA programme, including risk management of assets
Be responsible for identifying the technical solutions for fire safety works, and support investment teams in the delivery of major schemes and repair teams and contractors in the delivery of minor works
Essential criteria:
You must be NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management qualified
It is essential that you have experience working within a public sector organisation, preferably with over 5 years’ current experience within housing
A full, valid driving license and own transport is essential for this role
