With over 25 years’ experience in the design, installation and maintenance of communication networks including copper, coaxial and fibre this company has seen a huge growth in demand for their services nationwide. With the rollout of the fibre network and the development of multi housing units, there has never been such a huge demand for their services! 

Following the major FTTP networks installation Programme for Virgin Media, there is now an exciting opportunity in Cramlington for YOU to join their expanding Networks department as a Field Support Engineer. The role will see spending 60% of your working day being office based and 40% will be made up of site visits.

The ideal Support Engineer will have sound Excel skills and outstanding attention to detail to ensure that the current situation of works is being tracked accurately. As the Support Engineer within this organisation this role will see you out on sites with the Civils Supervisor on average 2 days a week to support the measure of built tracks, the creation of Asbuilts and the collection of Compensation Events Evidence.

Skills Required

• Good financial awareness
• IT literate, excellent computer skills (especially MS-Excel)
• Excellent administration skills, with a ‘quick to learn’ ability
• Good operational knowledge of work management systems and windows packages
