With over 25 years’ experience in the design, installation and maintenance of communication networks including copper, coaxial and fibre this company has seen a huge growth in demand for their services nationwide. They are a part of a major nationwide organisation offering similar services across all utility networks. With the rollout of the fibre network nationwide and the development of multiple housing units, there has never been such a huge demand for their services.

This company now needs YOU (a Fibre Network Supervisor) to join their fibre network team in Bristol to take on innumerable projects, where you will be reporting to the Delivery Manager.

The ideal Network supervisor will have experience in building fibre networks, as well as experience in cabling and splicing with a thorough knowledge of OTDR and ILM testing. As a Network Supervisor you must have good awareness of Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Procedures.

You will be responsible for ensuring performance and profitability for all network projects and working closely with the clients to deliver projects that meets their requirements.

This position requires a high degree of self-motivation, organisational and supervision skills.

A proven background in the Telecoms and fibre networks market would be essential to include FTTP (Fibre to the premises).

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong skills in client management, planning, logistics, resource management and commercial controls.
  • Experience working within the telecommunications industry preferably at a supervisor or manager level.
  • Good working Knowledge of work management systems and windows packages-(Excel/Word)
  • Financial awareness
  • Good awareness of Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Procedures, Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Construction Design Management Regulations and Section 74 Regulations.
