A well respected family run business supplying the construction industry with Structural Steelwork and Architectural Metalwork have identified the opportunity to recruit an Estimator into the business. This company’s client base has been established for over 30 years. They offer opportunity and progression to those who work hard and want to excel.

They are looking for an Estimator with experience of the construction/engineering sectors to support business growth. They are a leading steel engineering company, supporting successful projects across the Southeast of England from their base in Harrow. They design, manufacture and assemble CE Marked structural steelwork and architectural metalwork for construction industry projects of all sizes.

Whilst reporting to an experienced and devoted Commercial Director, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and build your own portfolio of work. With successful performance and looking at the company’s growth forecast, the opportunity to progress and climb the career ladder is definitely available.

Required:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an Estimator
• Education to degree level or equivalent
• Have a good understanding of technical drawings, construction methods and engineering principles
• A good knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills
• Ability to prioritise work under pressure whilst meeting tight deadlines
• Success in developing healthy, long term client relationships
