Following a successful end to 2019, a specialist groundworks contractor based in Surrey wants to expand their pre-construction team in order to further increase their workload.

This is a medium sized, family-run contractor that is a well-respected name in the market. They have a client base made up of customers who have been working with them for over a decade and they are looking to build new working relationships. Main contractors make up the majority of this client base, along with a few developers and private clients.

The role will see you:

• Assist the Estimating Manager to price new tenders within a competitive market
• Price your own schemes up to £5m
• Build new and maintain current relationships with customers
• Experience tendering rc frame and groundwork projects ideally

The ideal Estimator will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering OR an equivalent, relevant qualification with at least two years’ experience in the groundworks and civils industry.

The Estimating Manager is looking to build a team of ambitious individuals that can assist in taking the company forward. He has over a decade of experience that you can have the opportunity to learn from and he believes strongly in training and developing staff to their potential. He also has a great reputation for rewarding his staff both from a monetary and progression perspective.
