Estimator (water civils)

Freelance:  £400 per day

Based:  Reading

About the Project:

A large water framework, involving complex civils.  Type of work will range from earthworks, roads, structures, tanks and temporary works.

About the Role:

An experienced Estimator is needed to join the team, reporting into the Estimating Manager.  Overseeing a number of schemes, the role will involve producing accurate and competitive tenders / bids.  Working from first principles, the role will see you obtaining prices and quotations for subcontracts, materials, plant and labour.

Skills Required for the Role of Estimator:

• Have a civil engineering degree or HND level
• Be able to work independently
• Good client interfacing
• Civils water experience is beneficial but other sectors will be considered
• Structured career history
