Estates Surveyor / Project Manager - Berkshire

An opportunity for an Estates Surveyor / Project Manager in the public sector on social housing working for an exciting progressive organisation.

The role is working as a planned works surveyor and will be paying £37 - £38 per hour for the duration of 3 months with the likelihood of this being extended.  

The duties include:

Project Manage the estates works ensuring that essential works are carried out to the highest possible standard.

Manage the day to day property and estate management work for investment properties allocated from time to time, including inspections, dealing with tenant applications and service charges for multi-let assets

Carrying out, with a minimum of supervision, professional work arising from the property investment portfolio, including negotiating and dealing with rent reviews, lease renewals and other lease events in an efficient and timely manner.

Disposal by way of sale or letting of property and land (including preliminary works and marketing), instructing, overseeing and liaising with external agents and other consultants as required.

Instructing Legal Services or external solicitors with regard to the preparation of legal documents and approve draft documentation prior to completion.

To instruct, oversee & liaise with external agents and other consultants appointed from time to time.

Essentials:

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years experience working within a public sector organisation 

To have worked as an Estate’s Surveyor / Project Manager

A driving license and transport is essential for this role
