Electrical Distribution Network Design Engineer (11kv) - Northamptonshire

A specialist independent connections provider has an opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team and work within the 11kv niche.

Whilst working alongside an experienced team leader, you will be using your skills to work closely with housing developers and construction companies in ensuring that these projects are connected accurately and sufficiently to the grid.

Whilst you will be part of a team covering the electrical side of the business, this organisation also works within the gas and multi-utility sectors, so therefore there will be the flexibility for change later down the line if you wish to do so.

Required:

Electrical Engineering experience

Knowledge of CDM2017 regulations

Experience within electrical distribution

Ability to consult and work with external organisations

Desired:

Distribution design software experience/knowledge

Degree qualified or equivalent
