Electrical Design Engineer - London - W

• Do you have a degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent)?
• Is your experience in the design of Low Voltage (LV) building services or High Voltage (HV) networks?

In this role, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design of new connections to the power distribution network.  In the main, these HV connections, for new build developments in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors, will be at 11kV and 33kV voltage levels.

The role:

• Ensure design of new connections complies with client requirements and engineering specifications / standards
• Produce drawings for all stages of the project
• Make sure all designs comply with CDM regulations
• Liaise with other engineering and project delivery disciplines to bring about smooth running and successful completion of projects

Requirements:

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
• Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer – LV electrical building services or HV power distribution, gained with either a consultancy, Independent Connections Provider (ICP) or Distribution Network Operator (DNO)
