Design Manager - Educational projects - Kent

This leading contractor and one of the dominant players in UK construction market, a firm believer that the quality of what people perceive in a building will depend on the quality of individuals involved in design, development, construction and maintenance of the project.

They have built a solid reputation within the UK Construction market and offer excellent opportunities for personal development within the company. They are looking for a Design Manager with a structured career history to join their Kent based team on a permanent basis.

The right Design Manager for this job will come from a main contractor background, experienced in delivering UK schools or Universities and can make an immediate impact.

Desired criteria:

• A Degree or other further education qualification within the built environment
• Experience of working on framework project within the education sector
• A proactive approach and be an enthusiastic coordinator and motivator.
• Strong leadership and excellent communication skills, both at the personal level and more formal reporting level.

Salary and package will be dependent on experience £65,000 - £75,000
