Salary + Package: £50k plus car allowance/car, 5 % pension, annual leave

With over 25 years’ experience in the design, installation and maintenance of communication networks including copper, coaxial and fibre this company has seen a huge growth in demand for their services nationwide.

They are a part of a major nationwide organisation offering similar services across all utility networks. With the rollout of the fibre network nationwide and the development of multi housing units there has never been such a huge demand for their services.

This well respected civils telecom contractor are looking to recruit a Delivery Manager into their operations where the candidate will be reporting to the head of Construction.

The role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt and delivery of all client work orders across a wide geographical area, in the Southwest.

In addition the Delivery Manager must support the roll out of superfast Broadband and the expansion of the contractor’s clients Network, where you will be responsible for the development of the department and suitable resources to support the delivery of work orders across a number of field activities.

To ensure delivery of these works adhering to the required contract performance and quality standards.

The Delivery Managers requirements:

• Experience working within the Virgin Media Network is preferred, however not essential, you must have a background in Utility Construction, duct laying, cabinet builds and experience of reinstatement and Notices.
• The ideal Delivery Manager will have at least 5 years’ proven track record in managing field operation teams in a Telecommunications delivery environment along very strong Civils back ground as this role will be to deliver Construction based projects.
• Extensive knowledge of NRSWA, Notices and Permits.
