The Company:

Established over 50 years ago, this contractor has built up a reputation for delivering large and complex demolition, basement and infrastructure solutions to the private and public sectors. They have the ability to operate as both a principal and subcontractor and can take on projects up to £50m in value. They take pride in the fact that they ensure safety for all involved in their projects, deliver a specialist service on time & to budget and have in-house resources to deliver their assigned schemes. Over the years they have managed to build a steady turnover of over £450m.

The Role:

This contractor is looking to increase their turnover in their infrastructure division in the coming years, with now being the start of a strategic long-term plan. A key role that they are looking to recruit is a Contracts Manager to act as a key figure for all design and build/JCT contract projects. Typically, up to 3 of these projects will be out on site at any given time. The successful Contracts Manager will be working closely with the Operations Manager and Director to ensure that the expansion of this division runs to target successfully.

The Ideal Individual:

• Design and build experience
• Working knowledge of the JCT form of contract
• A background either working for a main contractor or large subcontractor for infrastructure schemes
