An opportunity to join a forward thinking construction services business, specialising in a variety of high end commercial, residential fit-out, refurb and new build projects. This client is a distinguished main contractor specialising in London's most luxurious residential properties for over a quarter of a century.

Position

As Construction Buyer you will be working on assigned projects so prior experience on related projects is key. The primary focus will be on procurement and purchasing which will mean exceptional attention to detail and diligence is essential. You will be required to report to the Commercial Manager and provide regular updates with regards to the current standing of projects.

This role offers an excellent salary and package along with the opportunity for professional growth within the organisation. This position is office based with some client facing and site visit.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing Costs

Placing material and plant orders

Attending project meetings to determine construction resources

Regular site visits

Working closely with the commercial team to verify accurate cost reporting

You must have:

A minimum of 5 years working with a residential developer or main contractor as a material buyer or sub-contractor buyer.
