An exciting role has become available for an experienced Commercial Manager to become a key member of the management team delivering a £800m infrastructure contract.
The project is a joint venture comprising of the UK’s top engineering contractors. The role will be to work for 1 of the JV companies, with the position working alongside the Project Commercial Director and reporting into your companies Regional Commercial Director. During the duration of the contract a key element of the role will be to ensure the commercial interests of your company are always being looked after, mitigating against risk and exposure. There has been a number of key Changes on the job, with potentially more to follow over the duration of the next 4 years.
The suitable individual will ideally have the following background:
- Major project experience, £150m+, on NEC contracts
- Ability to price and manage Change
- Confident in dealing with the project Board
- Be able to oversee a commercial team ranging from Assistant through to Senior Quantity Surveyors
- Structured career history
- Long term team player with a track record of finishing projects
