Commercial Manager - Warwickshire

Commercial Manager (HS2)
Salary:  £85k + package + bonus (subsistence if required)
Based:  Warwickshire (B46)

An experienced Commercial Manager is required for an exciting section of work on HS2!  The project has been running successfully for a few years and has involved complex, market leading and innovative engineering solutions.  The work environment is collaborative, friendly and commercially competent with it being led by an experienced Commercial Director.  The work itself forms part of the largest section currently being delivered on HS2.

The project is delivered under a JV partnership.  With the role reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will oversee work in the region of £250m with a team of Quantity Surveyors reporting into you.  You will be responsible for ensuring the team is carrying out the correct compliance, process and procedures set out by the client.  Will also see you take a key role in assessing and identifying risk and reward.  

The suitable applicant will ideally have the following background and experience:

• £50m + package or project management experience being commercially responsible for
• Strong client interfacing skills, with an eye on spotting commercial opportunity
• Able to manage a team of quantity surveyors
• Strong NEC experience
• Looking for a long term role
