Commercial Manager (Highways, Heavy Civils) - South Glamorgan

A market leading contractor is looking for an experienced commercial manager / lead to initially oversee a £35m highways and civils project, with further project awards to follow if delivered successfully. 

The role will initially require you to commercial set up the job with the position then going to site at the end of the year. The project itself will involve heavy structures, earthworks and concrete. The duration on site will be approximately 5 years. 

The role will require you to have the following experience:

Early contractor involvement background

NEC

Heavy civils (will not suit a highways maintenance background)

Ability and confidence in delivering similar size projects, and the ability to manage larger contracts in the future

Experience in risk management

Ideally you will also have a highways background
