A major player in the Highways civil sector is looking to bring a Commercial Assistant on board. The purpose of the role is to assist in the delivery and governance of commercial services. The organisation is already huge but ever expanding. Second to none in their development of employees, they pride themselves on ensuring their employees are reaching their full potential in order to stay ahead of the competition.

The role would see you report into the Senior Quantity Surveyor in order to aid in the deliverance of contracts on time and on target. Your day to day duties would see you:

• Estimating the value of reactive and planned works
• Re-measuring the reactive and planned works after completion
• Collating and uploading final accounts to client systems
• Continually develop highways understanding

The successful Commercial Assistant will possess the following:

• Ability to operate Causeway Project Accounting (CPA) system
• Able to manage and prioritise duties
• At least 1 year in construction industry
• Ability to engage and communicate with client, stakeholders, subcontractors and third parties
