Clerk of works - London - N

An exciting opportunity for a Clerk of works in the maintenance and upgrade team for a North London based Registered Social Landlord (RSL)!

This role is working for a well-known forward thinking RSL in North London who treat their staff well and recognise the importance of temporary staff

The role will be paying between  £27- £29 per hour and is working as a Clerk of works on a 3 month contract initially however this is expected to be extended for the right individual

The duties of the role will be:

• Inspecting contractors works ensuring the best value for money
• Snagging works prior to handover
• Ensuring works are completed on time and on budget
• Managing 3-4 projects at a time including kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes

Essentials Criteria:

• The candidate will need 5 years' experience working within construction 
• To have worked as a Clerk of works Site Manager or Finishing Foremen
• Experience of managing contractors and ensuring that they are performing to the highest level
