Clerk of Works - London - N

An opportunity has arisen for Clerk of Works to join a company working within the public sector. This is an exciting opening working for a company that are a leader in their field. The role is initially for the duration of 3 months, with the likelihood of this being extended.   

As Clerk of Works you will:
Carry out inspections ensuring works are completed to the required standard 
Update and maintain records of compliance and performance
Advise the contract manager of any matters that may impact on the budgetary or time constraints of the project
Advise the Contracts Manager of any delays in the process and assess the quality of the works
Attend contractor meetings with the Contracts Manager and tenants 

Essential criteria:
You will have experience working within a public sector organisation, preferably with over 3 years’ experience within this area 
To have worked as a Project Manager, Building Surveyor or Clerk of Works 
Experience of handling budgets and of working with general public
