Clerk of Works - London - C

If you are a Clerk of Works living in London, looking for an exciting and challenging opportunity - Then this is the ideal for you!

This Social Housing provider are a non-profit organisation, and were established in early 2000. They own and manage more than 4,000 properties within London. They are now looking for a Clerk of Works to join their team with experience in new build developments, refurbishment and planned maintenance to ensure the quality of the projects, as well as to review specifications and identify any problems whilst ensuring Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to on site.

Clerk of Works duties:

• To deliver a full range of clerk of works services on allocated projects.
• To work in partnership with appointed contractors
• To ensure that schemes are executed in complete accordance with the contract documents and technical brief.
• To monitor the progress and quality of works and liaise with the contractors to ensure that project targets and standards are met.
• To produce regular reports on the progress of contracts.
• To take action to identify potential difficulties on site and take preventative action.

The successful Clerk of Works will have:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Clerk of Works 

• Experience working on new build projects

• A valid and up to date driving licence

On offer for the role is a day rate of £240 plus a travel allowance.
