Clerk of Works - London - (Greater)

This Social Housing provider requires 4 Clerk of Works for major planned works, planned maintenance and refurbishment of a mixed portfolio of residential property. The works will be major external replacement contract eg ,windows , flat and pitched roofing , etc type work.

There four positions will be based in:

1.       Slough  and west London

2.       Stratford and east London

3.       Cray ( Bexley /Greenwich )

4.       South London

The successful Clerk of Works will work closely with the surveyors managing the projects to ensure all schemes are delivered safely and to the highest standard of workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Site inspections prior to work commencing and at all key stages throughout construction phase and snagging at completion.
• Make recommendations about any aspect of the works which do not conform to plans, specifications or schedules and to keep a constant review of documentation. Also ensuring that works are performed to a satisfactory standard and projects stay within agreed costs.
• Ensure that all current health & safety legislation, codes of practice and building regulations are observed at all times by the contractor.
• Monitor the delivery and quality of work carried out, in order to maximise customer experience and satisfaction.
• Carry out a wide range of site inspection across a varied portfolio of property assets.
