Clerk of Works - London

This is an opportunity working for a well-established Consultancy. They been around over 30 years and work in the residential, commercial and educational sectors. Over the years they have built a reputation of integrity, reliability and excellence for all of their services.                 

They are now looking for a Clerk of Works to join their team with experience in new build developments, refurbishment and cyclical maintenance to ensure the quality of the project as well as to review specifications and identify any problems whilst ensuring Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to on site. If you are a Member of the Institute of Clerk of Works (ICWCI) that would be desirable.

Duties:

• Liaise with Building Contractors
• Undertake regular inspections of construction work and monitor progress
• Verifying compliance with contractual drawings, specifications, warranty standards and Clients requirements
• Prepare written reports with supporting photographs on weekly intervals
• Organise snagging and ‘end of defects’ inspections with the client in attendance

The successful Clerk of Works will have:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Clerk of Works 
• Working on New build project
• Good interpersonal skills
• A valid and up to date Driving licence
