A multi-million pound turnover utilities contractor is actively looking to recruit an experienced professional to lead their pre-construction team due to their current Chief Estimator retiring. This Chief Estimator has been with the business for over 20 years and has been an integral figure in getting the business to where it is today.

The company itself is a reputable organisation within the utilities sector and has built a position in the market to be the ‘go-to contractor’. They provide a friendly environment and pride themselves on the first-class training and development they give their employees.

They are on several frameworks within the water, power and telecoms sectors and are looking to win further work elsewhere. Their work can range from low value, high volume schemes or projects up to £5m.
Ideally, the Chief Estimator will have a proven background in pricing utilities contracts and will have a 10+ year structured career history.

As the previous Chief Estimator played such an integral part in helping the company to grow, they are looking for someone to continue in his footsteps so there is the opportunity to sit in on board meetings, have a say in key business decisions and be regarded as a company leader.
