An established major concrete frame and new build contractor is actively recruiting a professional to lead their Procurement team.

This is an organisation that has a reputation in the industry for being a specialist within the RC sector and they are experiencing a healthy growth period after some very successful tenders in the run up to the new year. They have grown from a small groundworks and RC frame outfit into one of the most sought-after contractors within the build sector.

After being established for many years, they have built a position in which the majority of their work is done in-house rather than subcontracting out.

As the Chief Buyer, your duties will be to:

• Oversee all procurement for active sites
• Lead the Procurement team made up of 3-4 members of staff
• Maintain existing and establish new relationships with suppliers

The ideal Chief Buyer will have 10+ years procurement experience in buying materials such as concrete and rebar. A proven history of leading a Procurement team will also be advantageous.
