This is a specialist contractor that delivers demolition services on schemes such as power stations, commercial/residential developments and leisure buildings up to the value of £25m. They have secured a busy 2018 and are therefore seeking a Chartered Structural Engineer to work on their steel, frames and superstructure packages across the UK with regular visits to the head office in Dartford.

Initially this will be working on a stand-alone basis, however plans are to expand the Structural Engineering division of the business over the next few years with the successful Chartered Structural Engineer being the focal point. This will offer the opportunity to take a managerial role, recruit junior members into your team and create a path to directorship. Upon this progression, salary and package levels are negotiable up to £70k + tailored benefits when fulfilling a managerial role, then up to a three figure salary when directorship is achieved.

Required:

• Structural steel experience
• IStructE chartership
• Subcontractor experience

Desired:

• Degree qualified or equivalent
• Demolition/dismantling experience
