Then this position is the ideal opportunity for you!

This Local Authority is offering a new Project Management role within the Council and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to become part of their small New Build Team. 

The Project Manager will report to the Development Manager and will be responsible for delivering their residential and mixed development capital investment projects with values up to £60m. Ensure schemes are achieved within specified cost, time, quality and other performance targets. As Project Manager you will be ensuring all projects are carried out in accordance with their policies and procedures. Knowledge in standard forms of contract administration especially JCT will be advantageous.

The Project Manager will be able to lead and effectively manage new build construction projects from inception to completion, and to advise on new build technical construction matters. Projects will primarily be residential but may include some commercial properties.

Successful Chartered Project Manager will have:

  • Minimum 3 years proven senior experience
  • Chartered (RICS or CIOB)
  • Degree in Surveying or Construction
  • Strong experience in leading and managing a team
  • Knowledge of health and safety
  • Driving licence

On offer to the chosen Project Manager is a salary of up to £45,000 with a fuel allowance or a lease car and have flexible working.
