CAD Technician required for leading utilities company!

The CAD Technician / Graduate Engineer will be joining a company that specialises in multi-utility connections projects, covering gas, water and electricity / HV and will carry out the following:

• CAD drawings / design (including multi-layered drawings) using AutoCAD software
• Building Information Modelling (BIM) understanding
• Revise / update existing drawings
• Document project files
• Ensure drawings issued to the client meet their expectations
• Act as the department’s AutoCAD expert
• Attend design meetings

This is an excellent opportunity for either a CAD Technician who wants to work on interesting projects with a highly respected company or a Graduate Design Engineer (electrical engineering, civil engineering or mechanical engineering) looking to take their first step in a career within utilities.  Experience using AutoCAD is essential.
