Business Development Manager – HV Connections - Kent

The Business Development Manager will join one of the UK’s foremost ICPs, specialists in the design and construction of 11kV network infrastructure and new connections within the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.  Long-established and with an excellent name in the industry, their excellent reputation will help you open doors with new clients.

Responsibilities:

• Promote the ICP’s design and construction service to clients who require their buildings to be connected to the HV distribution network
• Analyse the market to identify opportunities for business development
• Create proposals and presentations for management and clients
• Create a database to manage the process with existing and potential clients
• Undertake market research to best identify and assess potential leads
• Draw up defined sales strategies to build on existing and new business
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with customers
• Assist with quotation, price and delivery pricing strategy
• Ensure company brand is well-known and respected in the marketplace through advertising, meetings and attendance at industry events / fairs

Essential criteria:

• Previous experience in business development, working with either a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) or Independent Connections Provider (ICP)
• Driving licence
