This Local Authority is looking for a Building Surveyor to handle a variety of inspections and work streams to establish cost, quality and compliance within the required standards and legislative requirements. You will be required to accurately record your findings and report on issues and trends on contractors’ performance and quality of workmanship. You will require a good understanding of the follow:

• Building Services Pathology.
• Building Regulations and Planning.
• Contract Administration.
• Legal & Regulatory Compliance and the Management of Health & Safety.
• Experience of liaison with residents, and managing contractors and a range of stakeholders

Successful Building Surveyor will have:

• Minimum 5 years proven experience
• Experience in residential properties
• Good interpersonal skills

For this role the chosen Building Surveyor will be paid up to £35 per hour (Umbrella Company) you will also receive a travel allowance.
