Let’s talk about this new and challenging contract role I have with my client, providing bridge engineering services to Highways England and local authorities.
Your day-to-day duties will include taking the lead and potentially managing a team of Bridge Engineers preparing:
-Scheme designs
-Design checks / feasibility reports
-Asset management strategies and documentation in accordance with specified briefs.
-Previous relevant experience is required along with, ideally, your Chartership status (MICE/MIStructE or equivalent).
To be a success in this role you will be required to contribute to the successful delivery of the programme of bridges and structures work by managing, developing and overseeing sound design solutions to meet client requirements within budget and timescale.
