Bridge Assessment Engineer - West Sussex

Location:              Crawley, Birmingham or Liverpool

Duration:             6 months +

Working on a number of Network Rail Bridge Projects this role would suit someone that has the experience to hit the ground running as a Bridge Assessment Engineer, working on the Network Rail asset management framework you will be dealing with assessment calculations and numeric calculations working on Over-, Under- and Footbridge assets.

To be considered for this role the successful Engineer will ideally have the following background and experience:

• Proven track record working in a similar Bridge Assessment Engineering role either in rail or highways.
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Ideally hold membership of an appropriate Professional body, i.e. a Chartered member of the Institute of Civil Engineering or hold an equivalent professional status.
• Working knowledge of UK H&S Laws and regulations
• Familiarity with Network Rail Standards would be highly desirable
