Working for a leading multi-disciplinary principal contractor who focus on the railway industry delivering circa £80m of projects per annum to support in the safe running of the rail system completing projects from major design and build projects through to track maintenance services. Having been founded over 25 years ago the company are looking to build on their success with clients such as Network Rail and Transport for London to develop their order book and continue their success story, in order to do this they are looking to recruit a Bid Writer to join their team based in North West London.

In this role of Bid Writer you will be leading tenders on key bids across the client portfolio, project managing bids and proposal whilst working with the planning / estimating team to deliver a competitive and qualitative bid submission within the agreed timeline.

To be considered for this role the successful Bid Writer will ideally have the following background and experience:

• Extensive experience in a similar bid role operating in the heavy civils, infrastructure or rail sector
• Ideally having worked on tenders for Network Rail, London Underground and Transport for London.
• Experience working on tender submissions, PQQ’s and EOI’s
• Degree or higher level qualification in a numerate discipline typically an engineering or related discipline.
