They have an exciting role for a Bid Manager to join their rail and civils team who have key growth and development plans for 2018. With an excellent client base as well as a respected name behind them, they are focused on diversifying this rail and civils division of their business to expand into aviation and larger infrastructure schemes. Traditionally their projects have been delivered on London LU contracts that could range from tunnel refurbishments through to platform extension and repairs in values from £500k to £8m. Part of the growth model will be an existing in house engineering offering to deliver large structures contracts in tunnelling and bridges.
The Bid Manager will be responsible for managing the bid and tender process from handover to delivery whilst being tasked with managing a team of Estimators, Planners and Bid Writers that will produce accurate, detailed and creative bid submissions. You will become a key member of the Senior Management and play an important part in the future growth and success of this division, becoming the face of the business to their client base so key strengths will be required in client engagement, management and delivery.
