About the Company:

This excellent medium sized civils rail contractor has been around for 30 years and has built a strong reputation with the likes of Network Rail and London Underground. Over the past 2 years they have gone through an expansion plan that has seem them secure key projects, as well as being put on NWR frameworks like CP6 and now have the opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join them.

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be joining a hard working, focused team and joining an organisation where Directors and Senior Management are approachable and eager to support where necessary, giving you excellent training and development opportunities. Ultimately this contractor retains a family friendly feel to the way they operate

About the Role:

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor the role will see you support the more senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers on projects.  You will work across the commercial team, from bidding through to project control and final account.

About You:

• Good communication skills
• Minimum 12 mths experience (civils, rail or utilities would be beneficial)
• Currently have or undertaking a HNC or Degree level Quantity Surveyor qualification
• Good communicator
• Good eye for detail
• Have a proactive approach to the way you work
