I currently have a requirement for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor working on helping improve drainage and avoiding leakages within the Thames Water region with two of the largest contractors in the UK. The chosen Surveyor will have the opportunity to work during the AMP6 managing the mains renewal and repair to help the water industry in London flow smoothly. The projects during AMP6 are approaching completion, but will yield more work in 2020 when AMP7 is confirmed. This role is working for one of the largest utilities contractors in the UK so there is a huge opportunity for long term progression on a project that will be a tough challenge, but will enhance your career by opening doors to more senior positions.

As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor your main roles and responsibilities will be to assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in managing this portfolio of work, and also helping to manage all the commercial functions so the scheme will run smoothly and be completed on time.

Required:

• Structured career history
• NEC experience
• General Civils Experience
• Minimum 2 years Quantity Surveying experience
