A challenging and rewarding opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a large highways contract for a leading highways service provider. The chosen Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be sharp and have the ability to work within a dynamic team to deliver on their major schemes (up to £5m) or maintenance projects (high volume/low value projects).

The role will see you work alongside a team and the Senior Quantity Surveyor in charge to deliver and control the commercial aspects of the project and ensure that they are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Responsibilities include:

-Meeting with clients

-Cost management of the portfolios

-Managing the subcontract payments.

Required:

• 1-2 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying
• General Civil Engineering experience
• NEC forms of contract experience
